Here we are again, getting close to the end of the year with Margaret B. Davis Memorial Music Competition and Certificate of Merit over and Baseball’s starting up! Thank you to all our Members who have volunteered to make our programs such a success!
Another thanks to all the Members who have been submitting their students to our recitals. All of our venues have been experiencing a surge in attendance! It has created a great atmosphere for all involved, several pieces for the students to hear and a nice size audience for the show!
I’m sorry to report that Member Helen Paul has lost her Husband, Michael Paul, who was also the Father to Member Jeffery Paul. I would like to offer our condolences to both of you on your loss.
The chair for the 5/23/10 Spring Festival at JB Piano at 2:00 PM is Karen Rogers. Go to our Branch Activities page on our web site to enroll your students. http://www.mtacmarin.org/activities.htm

Teacher 2 Teacher
The March Teacher 2 Teacher meeting was held at Marie Carbone's home in Sausalito.
Among other topics the group discussed teaching scale fingering, how to deal with the challenges of over-scheduled students, how to involve parents in their student's musical studies and how we can help students develop good practice habits. It was a high energy discussion and an inspiring morning for all!
The next Teacher 2 Teacher meeting will take place on Friday, April 30th, 9:30-11am. It will be hosted by Marie Carbone.
If you plan to attend, please email Marie at mmarguerite@yahoo.com by April 26th. And consider inviting another MTAC colleague to join you!
