About the Event
Join us for an intermediate piano master class with acclaimed pianist, teacher, and composer Diane Hidy.
Designed for intermediate pianists, this two-hour master class offers the opportunity to learn from Hidy’s extensive experience as a performer and educator. Selected pianists will perform and receive individualized coaching, while observers will gain insight into her approach to interpretation, technique, expression, and practice.
Held in a private home in Peacock Gap, San Rafael, the class offers an intimate and engaging setting for learning.
About Diane Hidy
Pianist Diane Hidy made her Carnegie Hall debut after completing her studies with John Perry and Leon Fleisher. She was the first woman Fellow of the American Pianist Association and won the MTNA National Collegiate Artist Competition.
Diane attended Juilliard and holds performance degrees from the University of Southern California and the Peabody Conservatory. She has more than 50 recordings of standard piano teaching repertoire used by…
